Shining Happy Mittens Holding Hands…

You know what that means… the convertible mittens are finished,

my holiday knitting is all wrapped up (under the tree) and I am ready to return to my regularly scheduled knitting. Introducing the beginning Conwy Sock #1:

Kally wants the internets to know she likes to share…

Shittykitty’s idea of “sharing” my water!

Holiday Knitting

Knit Unto Others hats:

On top, a basic 2×2 rib in progress and Stitch ‘n Bitch Nation Basic Cable both made with Plymouth Encore Worsted; on bottom, Stitch ‘n Bitch Umbilical Cord Hats in Blue Sky Alpacas Dyed Cotton Sky and Berroco Plush Precious Pink.

Next is a convertible mitten for my little brother

made with Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in Chocolate and Avocado. Chocolate brown is my favorite neutral, yet I almost never wear it…

almost…

Susan knit this scarf for me as part of the Salt Lake Stitch ‘n Bitch Winter Scarf Swap and I love it. I have worn it every day since I received it and know it will be a staple in my cold weather gear.

Speaking of our SNB WSS… Laurie’s scarf is finished and waiting for her!

AND there is a house sock in all that mess for me

using the Log Cabin Socks pattern in Handknit Holidays with Artyars Supermerino 114. Yummy!
